Impressions of Fine Art Nature Photography

By guest | December 28, 2009

The truly amazing thing about fine art nature photography is   all the inspiration that can be provoked. An image is seen of something incredibly beautiful and it makes you feel like you are actually there – you feel like a part of that photograph – you are in awe of its wonder . And that is the impression photographers really want to instill in viewers who see their photos .

Impressions made by fine art photography of nature makes on each person is subjective, just like photography . If the same photograph of fine art is viewed by three people , the impressions they have may be quite different . This photography can make a bad impression on one person , a good impression on the other person and that third person may have an indifferent impression.

Take a look at a photograph of a duck . One person looks at it and quickly makes a comment on the lovely color of the wings . They may mention that the crisp clear reflection is so great that it makes it look that a duck is right there with the other duck. The water drops that cling to the duck’s body appear as tiny diamonds lying on the brown feathers of the duck . Another person may see the duck photo and comments that the water looks dirty and the duck seems to be unhappy and lonely . And the third person may simple shrug their shoulders and say … “it’s just a duck.” “so, it’s a photo of a duck.”

Of course, a fine art photographer of nature will definitely want the photo to offers more of an impression than a shoulder shrug and lame comment But that’s the beauty of how nature photography leaves its impression – honest, open, and of course, subjective . For enthusiasts of nature , this photography becomes part of their life .

Fine art nature photography lets viewers travel to that place. If you look at a photograph of the sea crashing on huge rocks for some time , you feel like you are there – you almost feel the breeze on your cheeks, smell and hear the water as it crashes on the rocks . This is the very way people should be impressed with a piece of nature photography.

Fine art nature photographs are incorporated into our lives by hanging them on the wall at home, used as our favorite savers on our computer screens , and even worn on t-shirts . The impression that comes with fine art nature photography – whether it is bad, good, or even indifferent – lets us have an opinion of our own about what we like and don’t like . They make an impression that is everlasting .
